The H.E.L.P. Consortium

·The Center for Community Excellence and Social Justice (CCESJ) fosters theory, practice and empowerment for individuals, groups and organizations. The CCESJ mission of BEHAVIORAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICES AND PUBLIC POLICY provides training and opportunities for personal and social development.

·The Colorado UpLIFT works to liberate urban youth held captive by the destructive forces of the inner city. The UpLIFT mission is to EMPOWER URBAN STUDENTS TO SUCCEED IN LIFE through emphasis on character, college, and career.

·The Denver Institute of Urban Studies (DIUS) integrates Christian faith, policy, social theory, and justice and provides holistic, contextualized ministry training for urban leaders. The DIUS mission of JUSTICE, POLICY AND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP trains urban leaders in understanding the needs of multi-ethnic urban communities, equipping workers to meet the need, and developing career paths of service.

·The Denver Rescue Mission (DRM) programs meet spiritual and physical needs by providing shelter, food, clothing, Christian teaching, education, & work opportunities. The DRM mission is to return the poor, needy, & homeless to society as SELF-SUFFICIENT, PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS.

·The Denver Urban Academy (URBACAD) of Mission To The Americas assists community-based organizations in their spiritual and service development endeavors. The URBACAD mission of SPIRITUAL FORMATION AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT trains lay and ministerial students in the foundations of personal faith and community service.

·The Mile High Ministries (Issachar Community) equips young leaders to understand their moment in history and the challenges facing their communities and enables them to lead others in a practical and effective response to those challenges. The Issachar mission of PERSONAL, ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DYNAMICS trains community residents for personal effectiveness and effective community work.

·The Mercy Ministries supports urban children and single mothers. The Mercy Ministries mission of family cultivation and childhood development mentors urban families in understanding early childhood development and skills of parenting and nurturing of children.

·The 21stCentury Associates provides curriculum, management, and accreditation consultation to institutions of higher education. The 21stCentury mission of LIFE LEARNING ASSESSMENT AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES mentors learners through the process of demonstrating college-equivalent life-learning credit and provides continuing education curricula in leadership, management, and business.

·The Urban Pathways builds pathways to wholesome adulthood and community leadership through resolution of the issues of inner-city adolescent trauma, computer technology skills, and entrepreneurial mindsets. The Urban Pathways mission of ENTREPRENEURISM, TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINESS INCUBATION trains urban people to use technology & entrepreneurism in self-determination & urban revitalization.
